Book Redesign

Objective: Redesign the artwork for the book Shutter Island
Challenges: At the time it was making a realistic bright light effect and finding a way for for the title to stand out in a very unique way.
Solution: For the lighting effect I overlapped layers, added a bit of gaussian blurs and adjusted the opacity in all four of the light layers. As for the title, I decided to have the light house shine on the name Shutter Island and add cuts in between the characters to represent actual window shutters.
